Shri Ram Katha Gyan Yagya, a seven-day event held from December 19th to December 25th, 2015 stood as a soul-touching and remarkable experience for the devotees. Held at the Ram Leela Ground in Deepali, Pitampura, New Delhi, the attendees got to understand Lord Ram’s leelas first-hand thru the benign grace of His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji. His holiness is the head and founder of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan, the nonprofit, socio-spiritual organization that holds such events globally.
The Katha orator Sadhvi Shreya Bharti Ji, disciple of His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, explained that the purpose of Lord Rama’s incarnation was not just to destroy the demons of the time; He also took avatar to fill the devotees’ hearts with bliss, establish equanimity, peace, and serenity through Ram Rajya, the ideal kingdom. Sadhvi Ji explained that the Leelas of Shri Ram are tied to our lives, which is why the nectar of Katha quenches the thirsty soul.
Throughout the seven days, the essence of the Katha was repeated each day: GOD CAN BE SEEN. As explained in the Ramayana and numerous other scriptures, the Guru can show the true form of God within to the seekers. Guru guides His pupils on the path of righteousness and accomplishes the purpose He sets during His embodiment. Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji too is awakening the seekers through Brahm Gyan. This ultimate scientific technique activates pineal gland, which once activated emits hormones such as serotonin and melatonin. And, with the emission of such beneficial hormones, the body as well as the mind reaches a state of natural euphoria. The yogis refer to this blissful state as dhyan.
