That’s how we come to a neo-cult of nuclear families from those of joint households. One apartment, 3 people, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 3 ACs, 3 Plasma TVs, 3 Laptops, 3 or may be more ... And sadly, the intolerance doesn’t seem to halt. …Rapid globalisation, cross cultural influences, luxurious lifestyles, individual satisfaction… et al have certainly made us all progress materially; but, at the same time, we have regressed not just spiritually rather socially, culturally, and environmentally too. The direct implication of preference for individualised spaces is a multifold dig at nature’s resources. …
