Dieting or Healthy Eating?

‘Size Zero’ is the need of the hour- this is the modern weight mantra of many people.  Probably, complying with the rule- ‘as is the demand, so is the supply’, we find the media flooded with programmes pertaining to health issues. Advertisements showcasing various slimming centres offering new-diet plans or weight-loss regimes fill the magazines and newspapers. Influenced by these offers, people swing to and fro from one diet plan to another with one desperate desire, i.e. to shed off the weight.

  3. Researchers of Brigham Young University in 2001 found in their study of female high school students that 11% used laxatives to lose weight, 15% took appetite control pills, and 9% made themselves vomit after eating.
  4. …increased risk of premature mortality.

  1. Diets that ask to concentrate only on few foods; such as the cabbage soup diet, grapefruit diet, raw food diets and many low-carb diets, etc. Such diets…
  2. Low calorie diets …
  3. Diet with artificial-diet aids; Diet-aids like Dexatrim… which suppress hunger are available in the market. But…

… Therefore, in order to prevent health from harsh damages, all you need is to have a balanced diet with proper exercising.
