Sanskarshala, the monthly value-centric initiative of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan’s holistic education programme Manthan Sampoorna Vikas Kendra (SVK), continues to nurture young minds by seamlessly blending experiential learning with ethical grounding. Designed for children aged 4 to 12 years, Sanskarshala offers a meaningful space where knowledge is not merely imparted but internalised as wisdom for life.

Aligned with this year’s overarching theme of the Ten Attributes of Dharma, the focus for November 2025 was Vidhya Sanskarshala- aṣṭa dharma lakṣaṇam, highlighting knowledge as the eighth defining trait of Dharma. Through thoughtfully curated sessions, children were guided to understand how true vidyā refines clarity of thought, strengthens character, and inspires purposeful, value-driven action in daily life.
During the month of November 2025, a total of 76 Vidhya Sanskarshala workshops were conducted across DJJS branches nationwide, reaching approximately 6,045 children, including NRI participants as well as students from various schools across the country.

Vidhya Sanskarshala- aṣṭa dharma lakṣaṇam, this month’s core theme at Manthan, provided the guiding framework for a series of thoughtfully designed initiatives and activities conducted by dedicated Manthan volunteers. Anchored in the Eighth Trait of Dharma, the sessions were thoughtfully designed to deepen students’ understanding of knowledge beyond formal education. The opening discussions invited children to reflect on an important distinction- the difference between academic qualifications and true knowledge- prompting them to question what it truly means to be educated.
This was followed by an engaging video segment that illustrated how children grow with aspirations not merely to succeed, but to become good human beings. The sessions emphasized that education devoid of moral grounding can often lead individuals astray, resulting in ethical compromise and social harm. In contrast, education enriched with values fosters right conduct, social responsibility, and harmony in behaviour toward others.
Interactive quiz sessions reinforced these insights in an engaging manner, allowing students to actively internalize the concepts discussed. The narrative culminated in a reflective and uplifting emphasis on Brahm Gyan- true knowledge imparted by a true Guru- as the highest form of wisdom. This supreme understanding was presented as the force that shapes character, guides life choices, and transforms students into conscious, value-driven individuals.
In conclusion, the sessions concluded with the chanting of shanti mantra and prayers. Everyone paid their humble salutations at the sacred lotus feet of Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji. Through His divine compassion and guidance, this month’s theme- aṣṭa dharma lakṣaṇam found living expression, gently shaping the students’ thoughts, conduct and inner awareness.
