Dr. Radhakrishnan has very well said “A life of joy and happiness is possible only on the basis of knowledge and science”. Education is considered a basic right for all. But in earlier times, our elders were not fortunate enough to receive this valuable gift of education. To rectify that point of missing out on valuable education, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan has launched a new initiative called Syahi. It is an adult literacy centre in which basic education is provided to the adults to enable them to live a better life. Many such centres have been opened in multiple areas. 9th Adult Literacy Center was inaugurated in Nehru place on 11 August 2019. The inauguration was held at Geeta Mandir from 10.30 am to 1 pm. The event started with prayers in lotus feet of the Lord followed by lamp lighting and felicitation ceremony.
