To enlighten people about the divine purpose and importance of human life, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) organised a spiritual program on 24th April 2022 at DJJS Ashram, Opposite Doon International School, Verka Bypass, Amritsar, Punjab under the theme “Suno Pathik”. A large number of people gathered to attend this event.
The orator of the program, Sadhvi Shreya Bharti Ji, disciple of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji (Founder & Head, DJJS) stated that God is within us and He is the subject of practical experience; but because we are not aware of this, we spend all our time in insignificant matters of the world. For the one who is not awakened, it is impossible to realise the real purpose of life. Such an individual easily gets trapped in the web of negativities and ambiguities, thus making his life an unpleasant journey. On the other hand, this life can turn into a blissful experience, if it receives the divine spark of True Knowledge, bestowed by the Perfect Spiritual Master. Such a life brims with hope, happiness, and prosperity.
Our sacred texts unanimously state that spirituality adorns our life only after the direct communion with the Inner Self, which is possible only after the achievement of Divine Knowledge (Brahm Gyan) by the grace of a benevolent Spiritual Mentor. He opens the gateway to the inner world and shows the supreme target of our life. The orator further explained that the word ‘guru’ is derived from the roots ‘gu’ and ‘ru’. ‘Gu’ implies darkness and ‘ru’ stands for light. So, the one who can take us from darkness to light, meaning the one who can show us Divine Light within, thereby dispelling the darkness of ignorance, is a True Guru or a Perfect Master.
A Perfect Master is the embodiment of Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. The Guru is Brahma because he gives birth to a soul in the spiritual world (i.e., awakens the Inner Self); he is Vishnu because he sustains and protects him; he is Shiva because he annihilates his vices. When the Perfect Spiritual Mentor bestows upon the seeker the eternal science of Brahm Gyan, then, this supreme realisation dawns that ‘the self in me is same as the self in all'.
The audience was greatly motivated to tread the path of Self-realisation. The orator urged the audience to practically realise the Supreme Lord through the eternal science of Brahm Gyan and become conscious of the splendid cosmos that resides within the finite human garb.
By the grace of revered Gurudev Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, the program successfully concluded and inspired the audience to contemplate on the real purpose of existence.
