Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan, under the supreme grace of Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, organized seven days Bhagwan Shiva katha from 28th December 2025 to 3rd January 2026 at Dungarpur, Rajasthan. The Katha aimed at taking the devotees to the divine journey of eternal path which begins from self-awakening to ultimate salvation. The katha commenced with the chanting of Rudripath and Vedic mantras by Brahm Gyan initiated Ved Pathis, marking the auspicious beginning of spiritual event.
The katha orator Sadhvi Garima Bharti Ji beautifully propounded the significance of Lord Shiva. Bhagwan Shiva is Adi Yogi and the original Guru, the source of all yogic (spiritual) wisdom. The katha revealed the eternal truth of Self (Aatma) and liberation (Moksha). It also elaborated that the knowledge ignites the feeling of humility and surrender in humans, guiding seekers from ignorance to Divine knowledge, eventually dissolving one’s false sense of ‘I’ and ‘mine’.
Shiva represents pure consciousness (Chaitanya). Shiva is the destroyer- but not of the world, but of Avidya (ignorance) and Ahankara (ego). It is crucial that one realize that Shiva is not a deity to worship, but the divine presence within, which can be very well seen and experienced.
Sadhvi Ji explained in detail quoting instances from the scriptures that Lord Shiva can be seen within as it was seen by our sages and saints. Revealing the eternal technique of- Divine Knowledge (Brahm Gyan)- when a perfect spiritual master activates the third eye (Aagya Chakra) of the disciple, he can perceive God within his soul. In Guru Geeta, Lord Shiva himself explains to Goddess Parvati the profound truth that “One May wander to sacred places, but without knowledge of the self, bestowed by a perfect master, liberation is not attained.”
The activation of a third eye (Aagya Chakra) leads to the inner-transformation, annihilation of all negative vices, karmas, steadily cleansing of the mind, thoughts and finally establishing inner-peace, a state of eternal bliss within oneself. And it all happens only by the supreme grace of a Perfect Master.
The devotees perceived the discourse as a road map to reach Lord Shiva. Some people were overwhelmed with divinity, some focused on attaining Divine Knowledge, some had an eye-opening experience, and some came forward to further discuss on spirituality concepts. The devotional songs considerably connected the audience with the supreme purpose of life. The event was covered by many print media. Audience extended whole-hearted gratitude to DJJS and its representatives.
