Aiming to disseminate Lord Shiva's enduring philosophy of self-realization, compassion, and balance as principles for personal growth and universal harmony, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) organized the ‘Bhagwan Shiv Katha’ from 9th to 15th November 2025 in Gurugram, Haryana. The orator of the Katha was Dr. Sarveshwar Ji, a distinguished scholar and a disciple of Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji (Founder and Head, DJJS). Drawing from the revered narratives of the ‘Shiv Purana’, the event was designed to enhance spiritual awareness and promote ethical living aligned with Shiva’s teachings.

The Katha, devoted to DJJS’s ‘Kamdhenu’ initiative for improving and conserving Indian cow breeds, highlighted that genuine spirituality is demonstrated through both reverence and service to all creatures. The occasion seamlessly blended Shiva’s cosmic significance with Gau Seva (cow protection), showing how each represents the preservation of dharma and life.

The Katha attracted thousands of devotees each day, with the pandal resonating with devotional Shiv bhajans, fostering an environment of profound spiritual engagement. The event was further distinguished by the attendance of several notable guests and dignitaries from the NCR region. The katha received a comprehensive coverage and appreciation by regional newspapers, as well as local and digital media.

Dr. Sarveshwar Ji in his spiritual discourse expounded upon the ‘Shiva Tattva’, explaining that Lord Shiva is not merely a deity confined to rituals or mythology but the embodiment of pure consciousness (Chaitanya), beyond birth and death. He described Shiva as the ‘Adiyogi’- the first teacher of yoga and meditation, who represents stillness amid motion and wisdom amid chaos.

DJJS representative explained that ‘Shiva’s philosophy’ teaches the harmony between opposites: asceticism and family life, destruction and creation, silence and expression. Lord Shiva symbolizes the dissolution of ego and the awakening of inner awareness. Through deep reflection on his divine attributes—compassion, equanimity, and self-realization; human beings can rise above desires, fear, and ignorance.

Dr. Sarveshwar Ji emphasized that Lord Shiva’s path is not one of blind devotion but of experiential wisdom, attained through ‘Brahm Gyan (divine knowledge)’ and inner purity. He elaborated that this realization is possible only through the grace of a Perfect Master (Satguru), who dispels ignorance and ignites the inner lamp of consciousness. The Perfect Master is the living embodiment of divine wisdom, guiding seekers to experience truth beyond rituals. ‘Satguru’, he said, is today’s reflection of Mahadev-one who leads humanity from darkness to light through the awakening of ‘Brahm Gyan’.

The DJJS representative concluded that the life of a person who has attained 'Brahm Gyan' itself becomes a meditation and his every action is a sacred offering dedicated at the feet of God. He urged everyone to adopt the ideals of Lord Shiva- inner peace, love and compassion in their lives. He reminded the devotees that the real essence of Lord Shiva is not present in some distant heaven but in our own inner consciousness, which is revealed through ‘Brahm Gyan’ under the guidance of a ‘Perfect Master.

‘Bhagwan Shiv Katha’ made a lasting spiritual impact on everyone present, combining the profound wisdom of Shiva's teachings with a practical focus on supporting life on Earth by promoting the conservation of 'Kamdhenu'.
