In the gruesome battlefield of Mahabharata, Lord Krishna showered the gems of spirituality in the form of Bhagwat Gita. Along with the precious treasure of learning, Lord Krishna personified how to keep balance amidst difficult situations by concentrating on your goal. Today’s world is in the high need of such valuable teachings, only which can lead the people’s mind to the path of righteousness and towards the divinity of supreme peace.
In order to replenish the minds of devotees with the divine secrets behind Lord Krishna’s divine acts, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) - a non-profit, non-government and a leading spiritual organization, head and founded by His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj ji, organized 7 days of Shrimad Bhagwat Katha at the Phool Bagh Maidan in Gwalior, M.P., from 16th -24th January, 2016.
The program commenced with extending warm welcome to all the guests, congregators and volunteers. Sadhvi Vishwambhara Bharti Ji, disciple and preacher of Gurudev Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, was the orator of the event. Each day, the beginning used to be with the melodious prayers at the lotus feet of Lord Krishna so that our mind is calm and ready to imbibe the teachings. Devotional and inspirational bhajans along with the spiritual discourse maintained a balance between the words, meaning and music. The attendees used to look forward to new divine stories from Lord Krishna’s life each day along with their hidden meanings which are difficult to fathom just by reading the scripture.
The orator explained the need of perfect spiritual master and the fact that all these treasures can be experienced within our sol after initiation into the divine knowledge (Brahm Gyan). She emphasized on the richness of Indian culture and presented valuable and less known information on how and why we consider cow as our mother, why true religion is the burning need of the society, etc. She profoundly claimed that killing of large number of innocent animals and people is the main reason behind the disasters like- earthquake and floods. All this unrest and stress in the society can be managed if life is balanced which is not possible without knowing thyself, without knowing the purpose of life and realizing divine within. This was the core message of the event.
The program was highly appreciated and served its supreme purpose of making people aware about their purpose in life. Thousands of people across the districts marked their presence and enjoyed the divine nectar of Brahm Gyan through Bhagwat Katha.
