‘Budh Purnima’ which is remembered as Lord Buddha’s incarnation day, was celebrated in the Jails of Yamunanagar and Kurukshetra, Haryana. Inspired with the life story of Lord Buddha and his teachings, the 3 day event was conducted by Swami Vigyanand Ji, Swami Dheeranand Ji and Swami Margdeepanand Ji, from 4th to 6th May, 2015 in Yamunanangar Jail and 7th to 9th May, 2015 in Kurukshetra Jail, covering almost 80 prisoners in each jail.

The attendees discovered the meaning and essence of ‘Purnima’ which according to Hindu calendar is an auspicious day, and affects the mind & soul of humans. They were tuned to a transcendental zone and savored the spiritual renditions.

Connecting to the spiritual circuit entrenched pure thoughts in prisoners. Further, many of them were motivated to get initiated into the unique technique of “Brahm Gyan”.
