On September 14, 2024, Hindi Diwas and International Literacy Day were commemorated at Jamuni Kala, Manthan SVK in Shravasti, Uttar Pradesh. The event commenced with a Saraswati Vandana, a traditional invocation to the goddess of learning, followed by the lighting of the lamp and the welcoming of the guests. Students showcased their talents with a group song that promoted linguistic unity and the festive atmosphere was further enhanced by lively dance performances. A key highlight of the event was a play that vividly illustrated the significance of the Hindi language and literacy. The event also featured students reciting poems that celebrated the glory of Hindi, reinforcing the cultural and educational themes of the day. Ashok Yadav (District Panchayat Member), Arvind Gupta (BJP leader), Krishna Kumar, Vaish (ADM Office), Satyendra Mishra (DM Office), Shailendra Mishra (Senior Advocate) were the Chief Guests of the event.
