Childhood is all about having fun and enjoying a carefree life. Every child is a different kind of a flower, and all together, makes this world a beautiful garden. There are some things that we can’t buy; one of such thing is our childhood. So enjoy the spirit as well as you can. One such day to enjoy this spirit is the Children’s day celebrated on 14th November every year. To celebrate this spirit of childhood, Manthan-SVK celebrated the day with lots of enthusiasm. Manthan-SVK is an initiative by Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan which is working relentlessly for the benefit of underprivileged children of the society.

Children’s day celebrated at Manthan SVKs with high enthusiasm

Sapient, Gurugram branch celebrated the day with Manthan SVK, Gurugram centre by inviting the kids to their office. The day started with music, dance, drawing competition. Games were also conducted for the children. For the fun of the children, magic show was organized by the team. Tattoo making was also available, much to the children’s delight. A puppet show was also organized for the children which was immensely enjoyed by all. Refreshments were also served to the students. The event ended with prize distribution ceremony for the drawing competition winners who were given folding study tables as prizes. Bags, drawing copy and modeling clay was given to all the students as Children’s day gift. All the students as well as Sapient’s employees enjoyed the day to the fullest and had fun interacting with each other. At the Gopal Nagar centre of Ludhiana, Punjab, 20 Manthan SVK students visited Delhi Public School at Bal Sangam from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm. School administration and management interacted with the students to their delight. Students participated in various activities such as toss a ring, steal the ball, freeze dance, Musical chairs, Roman numbers, Tail the donkey, Hot potato, Bomb the city, Lock and key, Pick the bangles etc. Students won various prizes in all these activities. School students also enjoyed a lot with Manthanites. Thank you cards were given to the students by DPS students. At Ambala centre of Haryana, students were invited to a talent hunt organized by “Ek Koshish” in which the Manthanites performed on Guru Ashtakam and Manthan SVK theme song. Mr. Anuj Goyal (Cantonment board officer of Ambala cantt) , Ms. Prerna Chaudhary Ji (Income tax commissioner) and Dr. Pratibha Singh Ji were the Chief guests of this event. 9 students of Manthan won consolation prizes of school bags and trophies. The day was celebrated at all the other centres as well with full enthusiasm and created a memorable day for the children.
