Philosophers have said, “Life is a battle.” All the small or big battles that we confront in life often exhaust us considerably. Our strength and perseverance wears down. Consequently, we get afflicted with tensions, depression, hypertension- psychological disorders. The need is to follow the Lord Krishna’s unique divine technique. The one that made Arjuna not only boldly face the most difficult times of his life, but made him victorious too. Lord Krishna states that technique as –
“Tasmaat sarveshu kaaleshu maamanusmara yudhya cha.”
“Therefore, Arjuna, constantly remember ME all the time and fight. With your activities dedicated to ME and your mind and intelligence fixed on ME, you will attain ME without a doubt.”
The Lord doesn’t say that one should give up his prescribed duties and engagements. One can continue them and at the same time remain connected to God. This will free one from material contamination and engage the mind and intelligence in the divine Lord.
Hence, in order to present such divine techniques which has the definite and divine potential to bring a positive transformation in man, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) – a non –government, non-profit and a leading spiritual organization, head and founded by His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, organized a seven days program of Shrimad Devi Bhagwat katha, from June 3rd-9th, 2016 in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.
Many intellectuals marked their valuable presence and witnessed the divinity prevailing in the environment. Verma- Senior Advocate- High Court (Himachal Pradesh), Mr Mast Ram Sharma- Secretary of Sanskrit Academy- Shimla (H.P.), Mr Kishori Lal Sharma- President of Braham Sabha- Shimla (H.P.), Dr D.S. Parmar- District Attorney- Shimla (H.P.), Mr Suresh Bharadwaj- MLA- Shimla (H.P.) and Mr Gyan Sagar Negi- SDM- Shimla (H.P.).
The organization extended a warm welcome to all guests, preachers, volunteers and audience. The humble prayer and the series of devotional bhajans evoked the sense of true spirituality and soaked the hearts of disciples in divine nectar. Inspiring lyrics and heart-touching rhythm filled the surrounding with utmost positivity. Audience felt being awakened in a new dawn of spirituality.
The spiritual discourser of the program- Sadhvi Matangi Bharti Ji, daughter disciple of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, lucidly explained here valuable thoughts to the august gathering. Throughout the seven days, she shared her thought provoking ideas and revealed the most valuable technique of ‘Brahm Gyan’ (divine knowledge) which can actually fill the life of disciples with utmost divinity and prosperity. She said, ‘There is no point of living a life which parts us from our own very root, Supreme Lord. Therefore, it is imperative that we should stay connected with the Supreme like Arjuna, while fighting the battle of life, keep remembering our Lord in every breath and we’ll definitely win in this way”. The program served its supreme purpose in making people aware about the divine technique, thereby touching thousands of lives in one moment.
