The Latur branch of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) organized a seven-day Shrimad Devi Bhagwat Katha in Beed, Maharashtra, from 25 to 31 October 2025, by the divine grace of Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji (Founder & Head, DJJS). The sacred narration aimed to awaken spiritual consciousness among the masses, enabling individuals to connect with their true self and understand the eternal purpose of human life.
Devotional hymns, overflowing with the essence of bhakti, filled the atmosphere with peace and reverence, preparing the hearts of the audience to absorb the divine nectar of wisdom flowing through the Katha.
The Katha was eloquently delivered by Sadhvi Aditi Bharti Ji, Preacher disciple of Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji in an engaging and insightful manner. She seamlessly wove Sanskrit verses and references from sacred scriptures into the discourse, enriching the spiritual depth of the narration. She explained that Maa Durga is the divine power dwelling within every being, an extraordinary confluence of strength, wisdom, and compassion. She emphasized that when a person connects with their true spiritual essence, they rise above fear, ego, and negativity. Attuning oneself to the divine energy of Maa Durga awakens inner power and the supreme purpose of life. It reminds us that the same cosmic force that governs the entire universe flows within us as well.
In today’s turbulent and fast-paced world, where material desires often overshadow inner peace the need for spiritual stability has become profoundly significant. In such times, the guidance of a Perfect spiritual mentor serves as a beacon of light, leading an individual back to their true essence. The Katha was dedicated to the “Santulan” initiative (Gender equality program) of DJJS, which aims to eliminate all forms of discrimination and violence against women. The core principle of this initiative is that true equality for women can be achieved only through the holistic transformation of societal structures. Through inner awakening, women can realize their inherent worth, and men too can learn to recognize and uphold respect towards women.
The event concluded with an inspiring message, urging everyone t to seek the higher purpose of life and to experience true spiritual transformation. The efforts of DJJS to disseminate eternal wisdom in a contemporary and relatable manner were widely appreciated. Many participants expressed eagerness to engage in future initiatives of DJJS, viewing them as meaningful steps towards inner peace, self-realization, and universal harmony.
