As mesmerizing melodies enchanted at Amritsar, the audience of all creeds and backgrounds found themselves lost in the devotional hymns and songs presented by Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan on April 14, 2016. Sadhvi Vaishnavi Bharti Ji and the entire musical team, disciples of His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, called upon the masses of Amritsar to join hands in the revolutionary caravan of transformation DJJS is steering.
Saint Aurobindo has beautifully quoted, “All music is the sound of His laughter”. Devotional music particularly, holds the power to unite people of all faiths and beliefs as well as ignite the devotion within an individual enabling one to dash thru any bondages and hurdles, and unite with the Supreme source. This Bhajan Sandhya did just that and more.
The event showcased various activities and initiatives by the organization. A concrete example of the projects was seen through the youth of Amritsar who stood tall as selfless volunteers during the occasion. While the rest of the youth is known for lodging in drugs and immoral deeds, these youngsters devote themselves for a divine platform, holding such events and enlightening others.
Sadhvi Ji highlighted the purpose of the program “Asto Ma Sadgamya” - from illusion to the truth. As we can see, today’s world is surrounded by darkness. This prayer from the Brihadaranyaka Upanishad, appeals to the Lord to take the devotee from illusion to the truth, from darkness to light, from death to immortality. The team proudly stated that Brahm Gyan is the technique to conduct this travel from deception to reality. Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, the perfect master of the time, is imparting the technique today to one and all.
Brahm Gyan, the ‘skeleton’ of the organization, is the self-realization technique that enables one to recognize the highest potential within. With such potential, the individual does not dwell in the lower sensory thinking however rises high above the norms of societal habits. It is the secret that can transform today’s world into a mystical peaceful domain where unity and brotherhood resonate in all directions.
