Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) working under the mentorship of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji (Head & Founder – DJJS) is dedicated towards its mission of World Peace through Self Awakening and hence continuously organises various Spiritual Programmes. Recently, DJJS organised a Devotional Concert on 3rd December, 2016 in Hoshiarpur, Punjab. The event was aptly named “Divya Guru”.
Large number of Devotees gathered to attend this peaceful and spiritual concert. Various dignitaries including Sh. Sohan Singh Thandal (Minister for Jails, Tourism, Cultural Affairs, Tourism, Punjab Govt.), Sh. Tikshan Sood (Political Adviser to CM Punjab Sh. Parkash Singh Badal), Sh. Sanjiv Talwar (Political Adviser to Sh. Avinash Rai Khanna - Vice Chairman Indian Red Cross Society and Vice President of Bhartiya Janta Party- India), Sh Parveen kanda (PPS-S.P Vigilance Bureau, Jalandhar ), Sh. Shiv Sood (Mayor Hoshiarpur), S. Paramjit Sachdeva (Managing Director at Sachdeva Stocks), Dr. Ravjot (MD, Ravjot Hospital, Hoshiarpur ), Dr. Harish Bassi & Dr. Pooja Sood (Central Hospital, Hoshiarpur), Sh. Dinesh Kaushal (M.D, D.V Hero, Hoshiarpur), Advocate R.P Dhir (President Bar Council, Hoshiarpur), Smt. Simple Arora w/o Sh. Sunder Sham Arora (MLA, Hoshiarpur), Pandit Ramanuj Sharma (Bhrigu Shastri, Hoshiarpur), Sh. Munish Gupta (M.D Billa Bricks Industry, Hoshiarpur) and 20 Councillors also marked their presence at the event.
DJJS’s very own eloquent orator, Sadhvi Rupeshwari Bharti Ji, disciple of His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji explained through her edifying discourse session the dire need of hour to walk on the spiritual path with immense faith, belief, love, and devotion on the Spiritual Mentor/Guru. Spiritual mentor help to develop a solid pattern of spiritual discipline in disciples’ lives which helps deepen their personal relationship with God. He enlightens the soul of his disciple with Divine Knowledge and supports him continuously to walk on the divine path of Bhakti. He also plays many roles in the life of his disciple and is a Role Model, promotes spiritual growth, provides accountability, is an encourager and always available in the times of crisis. The relationship between a Disciple and Spiritual Mentor is purest of all and free from the worldly desires & selfish motives. The path of Bhakti can be successfully completed, only if we move forward as per the directions of our Guru.
The devotional Bhajans were sung by the disciples of His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji. The concert proved to be a spiritual delight for the starving souls. The congregation was spurred by the inner meaning that each of the inspirational Bhajan evoked. And, as the evening progressed the audience could be seen fully captivated within the glorious music. The harmonious vibrations of Bhajans are filled with the intense yearning for God.
The main purpose of the Devotional Concert was to bring back the lost luster and infuse each life with divinity through the message of Self-realization (Brahm Gyan) so that every soul is blessed and Peace reigns supreme. Self-realization is the sole basis for making a peaceful world because it is a source through which we can control our mind which if not controlled can act like enemy. This is the only way through which we can experience our higher self.
By the end of the transcendent evening, the audience was fully enraptured and immersed in the waves of sanguinity. The program was concluded splendidly with the message of “Brahm Gyan-the science of human transformation from within”.
