With renewed commitment to holistic education in rural Bihar, DJJS Manthan SVK recently concluded its annual review of all four schools operating in the state. Leading this significant journey was Sadhvi Deepa Bharti Ji, accompanied by her vibrant contingent from the Delhi Head Office, whose presence infused fresh energy and purpose across every Manthan SVK centre visited.

The schools reviewed spanned four regions—Bakraur in Bodh Gaya, a sacred land of spiritual enlightenment; Padampur in Saharsa; Parsauni in Supaul; and Dhanauj Dharampur, a village where Manthan SVK remains the sole educational provider.

During the visit, a special initiative for women empowerment was also launched in Bakraur, Bodh Gaya, on 16 April 2025. A dedicated Adult Literacy Classwas conducted to help rural women learn to read, write, and sign their names, thereby granting them the foundation of functional literacy. The program also assisted semi-literate women in applying their basic knowledge meaningfully in daily life.

In tandem, ‘Prashikshan’ – a sewing and stitching centre – was also inaugurated, benefitting nearly 25–30 women. Through hands-on sessions, the participants learned the fundamentals of tailoring, cutting, and machine operation. Their enthusiasm was palpable—many shared their joy and gratitude, expressing how this opportunity from DJJS Manthan SVK has the potential to help them become economically independent through skill-based income generation.

Among the many milestones achieved during the tour, another heartening development was the initiation of permanent infrastructure for the DhanaujDharampur school, replacing its earlier makeshift structure. Thanks to the steadfast backing of well-wishers and sponsors, the foundation stone was laid on 18 April 2025, with a solemn Bhoomi Pujan and Havan Yagya, performed by BrahmGyani Ved Pathis of Divya Jyoti Ved Mandir. Esteemed dignitaries including Swami Yadavendranand Ji, Sadhvi Sharwani Bharti Ji, Sadhvi Deepa Bharti Ji, Sadhvi Jyoti Bharti Ji, and Sadhvi Neha Bharti Ji joined villagers, volunteers, and students to mark the occasion.

This development holds deeper significance as the region is flood-prone, and a permanent structure ensures not only academic continuity but also a safe, resilient learning environment.

Throughout the review, encouraging transformations were observed—enhanced hygiene practices, greater attendance, and academic enthusiasm among students. New enrolments across centres reflect growing awareness and trust in Manthan’s mission.

Adding further momentum, an All Bihar Manthan’s Teachers’ Training Program was conducted on 20 April 2025, focusing on innovative teaching methods, an updated academic roadmap, and energised morning assemblies—laying the groundwork for a more immersive and joyful learning experience in the coming year.

With this visit, DJJS Manthan SVK reaffirms its resolve to bridge educational gaps, empower rural women, and build brighter futures in the heart of India’s villages—one brick, one child, one skill, one step at a time. Thankyou Manthan, Thankyou Maharaj Ji.
