In a heartfelt celebration of feminine strength, sensitivity, and self-worth, DJJS Santulan the gender equality and women empowerment wing of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) under the guidance of Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji orchestrated an impactful event in observance of International Women’s Day at Jiwaji University under its annual campaign Swabhiman on 10th March 2026. The occasion unfolded as more than just a gathering but became a meaningful journey of awareness, expression, and inner awakening, leaving an indelible impact on every participant.

The event came alive with a series of thoughtfully curated, engaging activities that drew the audience into active participation, encouraging them to reflect on pressing concerns related with women empowerment and gender equality. Elevating the atmosphere to a soulful high, Sadhvi Akansha Bharti Ji and her team presented a mesmerizing musical concert that elegantly intertwined valour, courage, grace, and wisdom resonating deeply with the hearts present. A poignant theatrical performance on female foeticide emerged as one of the most stirring segments of the program. With its emotionally charged narrative, the play shed light on a harsh reality, urging society to confront and transform age-old mindsets that hinder true progress of society because other half of the population, the women continue to face all kinds of gender-based prejudices and violence.

Adding depth and direction to the event, Sadhvi Deepika Bharti Ji, Global Head, DJJS Santulan and a world-renowned orator of Ram Katha in both Hindi and English languages, delivered an enlightening discourse that redefined empowerment beyond external achievements. Sadhvi Ji further unfolded the vision and mission of Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, explaining that the essence of a truly empowered woman lies in her inner awakening. When she connects with her true self and recognizes her divine strength, she becomes unstoppable.

The evening moved into a moment of pride and celebration with the ‘Swabhimani Nari Honor’ felicitation ceremony, as DJJS Santulan honored ten remarkable women from diverse walks of life whose personal journeys embody grit, resilience, and unwavering determination in the face of adversity including Kiran Ahirwar, City Superintendent of Police, Gwalior; Deepti Tomar, SHO, Inderganj Police Station, Gwalior; Damini Sharma, National Level Boxer & Major Dhyanchand Khel Ratna Awardee; Honey Sharma, Social Worker & Founder President, Streeshakti Manch; Dr. Sheetal Jain, Academician & Social Worker; Dr. Karuna Saxena, Academician, Author & Social Worker; Savitri Srivastav, Social Activist (Rain Water Harvesting Initiatives); Manu Rawat, Journalist; Vijeta Singh, Sports Activist & Social Worker; Ekta Sharma, News Anchor, Zee One News.

The event gracefully concluded with the presentation of mementos to the respected Sadhvi Jis, expressing heartfelt gratitude for their enlightening guidance and inspiring presence.
