Shiv embodies auspiciousness, while Shakti creativity. Together they form an energy source which breaths a new life into the body of the devotee when that devotee decides to tread the path of spirituality under the guidance of an awakened Master. Through the Master, the devotee comes to understand the true meaning of Shiv Shakti Aaradhan, i.e., meeting of the soul with the universal consciousness.
To bring this message to the masses as an answer to the question- ‘what meaning does the worship of Shiv Shakti hold for a devotee?’ Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) organized the program of Devotional Concert themed ‘Shiv Shakti Aaradhan’ at Amravati, Maharashtra, on February 26, 2017. Sadhvi Manimala Bharti Ji, preacher disciple of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji (Founder and convener of DJJS) was the orator of the event. Through numerous devotional songs pertaining to Shiv Shakti, the event brought to audience’s notice the key elements of worshipping Shiv Shakti in an eloquent manner.
Many high profile guests and dignitaries attended the event and got benefitted by the same. Mr. Anandrao Adsud (Member of Parliament from Amravati of Shivsena Party), Mr. Bandu Hiwase (Corporator of Amravati Corporation from Congress Party), Mr. Balasaheb Hinganikar (Zilla Parishad Member of Amravati from Shivsena Party), Sau Vandana Harne (Corporator of Amravati Corporation from B J P), Mr. Sanjay Tirathkar (Corporator of Amravati Corporation from B J P) and Mr. Sanjay Mankar (Corporator of Amravati Corporation from Shivsena Party) were some guests who graced the occasion.
Through the devotional songs sung by the preacher disciples of DJJS along with spiritual discourse, Sadhvi Ji weaved together the entire concert and imbibed the hearts of the audience with the devotion for Lord Shiva and Goddess Shakti. She said, “To worship Shiv and Shakti is the first step of an individual onto the path of spirituality and it may become the last if the individual does not completely observe the essence of Shiv Shakti worship”.
Sadhvi Ji said that mere worship of Shiv Shakti can’t and won’t bring the individual closer to the ultimate truth. The ultimate need is to know the true purpose of life which is to know self and to be one with Supreme from whom we have separated for many births now. Sadhvi Ji then explained to the audience the importance of seeking an enlightened spiritual Master who shines the inner core of an individual and is the only one capable of fulfilling the ultimate purpose of life. She further added that perfect master is the only one who shows the true form of soul, a reflection of Shiv Shakti, i.e., unending lustrous light. His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji is one such spiritual guide who can show that light to the spiritual seeker too. Hence, the doors of DJJS are open to all the devotees who wish to see the Brahm form of Shiv Shakti.
