Under the nationwide Sankalp – Drug-Free India Campaign (2025–2029), a two-month awareness campaign titled “Ek Yudh Apne Virudh” was conducted during August–September 2025 by Bodh, an initiative of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan, in collaboration with Yuva Pariwar Sewa Samiti (YPSS).

Ek Yudh Apne Virudh– A Youth Awareness Campaign by BODH & YPSS under the SANKALP Initiative, Impacting 4,154 Beneficiaries

The initiative aimed to empower youth to rise above addiction, digital dependency, peer pressure, and emotional stress by nurturing inner strength, clarity of thought, and responsible decision-making. The programs were organized across Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Bihar, Karnataka, and Rajasthan, reaching 4,154 beneficiaries through school, college, and university-level sessions.

Each workshop blended scientific understanding, value education, mental health awareness, and spiritually inspired guidance on discipline and lifestyle choices. Sessions were conducted at the following institutions:

A wide range of engaging activities—lectures, skits, quizzes, meditation sessions, video screenings, demonstrations, group discussions, signature drives, and pledge ceremonies—ensured strong participation and meaningful engagement of the youth. The presence of distinguished guests and academicians added credibility and depth to the campaign.
 

STATE WISE HIGHLIGHTS

Faridabad:  An interactive workshop was conducted with the participation of experienced DJJS speakers.

Ahmedabad:  Activities were led with support from YPSS representatives and members of the Silver Oak University Committee.

Lucknow University:  The session witnessed an eminent academic presence, including Prof. Geetanjali Mishra (Dean Academics), Prof. Sudhir Mehrotra (HOD, Biochemistry), Prof. Samir Sharma, Dr. Minal Garg, Dr. Kusum Yadav, Dr. Rudra Prakash Ojha, Dr. Prashant Singh, Dr. Rajkaman Srivastava, Dr. Nisha Singh, Dr. Madhu Kamle, Dr. Ashutosh Singh, Dr. Neeraj Mishra, and Dr. Manisha Shukla—making it one of the most collaborative academic engagements of the entire campaign.

Maharashtra:  Workshops were strengthened by expert facilitators including Dr. Nehal Pawar, who guided students through lectures, meditation, video screenings, counselling, and signature campaigns; and Mangalya Bharti, who conducted interactive discussions and motivational activities.

Bengaluru:  Notable guests such as Dr. V. Nagaraj, Dr. H. G. Chandrakant, and Prof. Kedar Singh from the Sambhram Group of Institutions actively contributed to the program.

Rajasthan and Prayagraj:  Value-based sessions were conducted with involvement from dedicated DJJS representatives and school management teams, including Ratipal Kashyap, Manager of Shri Ramraji Balika Inter College.

Across all states, students expressed that the sessions helped them understand the consequences of addiction, the importance of mindful digital habits, and the need for positive peer associations. Many pledged to adopt a disciplined, addiction-free, and emotionally balanced lifestyle. With its impactful outreach to 4,154 young minds, the two-month campaign significantly advanced the shared vision of DJJS and YPSS—to build a mentally resilient, addiction-free, value-driven generation capable of shaping a healthier and stronger India.
