Education is the most powerful weapon which can be used to change the world. Education is the movement from darkness to light. Knowledge is life and a cure for ignorance. A person can have abundance of knowledge but there are only a few who spread it to others. Education plays a crucial role in building a person’s future. But not all are blessed enough to receive value education in their life. To spread the light of knowledge to the underprivileged children of our society, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan has launched an initiative, Manthan- sampoorna Vikas Kendra (SVK). This project is benefitting thousands of students across India with its unique quality education model and philosophy. To add one more link to this chain, Manthan SVK inaugurated its 19th centre at Ambala, Haryana on 30th June 2019.
After a considerable survey in the area, this new centre has been opened to benefit the children of the surrounding slum clusters. Students prepared to a vast extent to make the event a success. The event started off with a group song 'Guru Ashtkam'. The esteemed guests Mr Assem Goyal , MLA Ambala, Haryana, Mrs Neeta khera, HPSC member, Mr Anubhav Aggarwal District Youth President of BJP, Mr. Ravinder Singh Choudhary, DEEO Ambala, Dr. Pratibha Singh , Member of Haryana National Commission for Protection of Child Rights, Ms. Namrata Gaur, Member of Haryana State commission for Women, Mr. Bhupender Singh, DSP central Jail, Ambala, Mr.Tilak Raj Taneja, Director Taneja Public School, Mrs Veena Dhal, President, Social Welfare Association, Ambala, Mr. Surinder Singh , Ex. SP Jail Ambala started off the program with lamp lighting ceremony. Students performed dance on the song 'Goonj Divya Jyoti ki' which was applauded by all present. Manthan SVK program Coordinator, Sadhvi Deepa Bharti Ji, Sadhvi Gopika Bharti Ji, Swami Gurugyananand ji, Swami Yogeshanand ji welcomed the honorary guests. Guests distributed bags to all the students and students felicitated them with handmade Thank You cards. The audiences appreciated the efforts of Manthan SVK in providing value education to the children for their overall development. Students performed a skit on 'Bharat se India tak', depicting the gradual transformation of our country and the reflecting present need of hour. A video reflecting the journey of the initiation of Manthan SVK, Ambala center was also shown in the program. Ambala sponsors and child meet was also held with an emotional gesture. Students concluded the event with dance on Manthan Jingle and thereafter Swami Gurugyananand ji gave an impressive vote of thanks to all present. The guests appreciated the event and pledged to be a part of the initiative.
