Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) is a socio-spiritual organization spreading self awakening and thereby peace all over the world. It is reaching effectively to different stratum of people across the boundaries. In continuation of their restorative and reformative ideology, Antarkranti (Prisoner reformation and rehabilitation initiative of DJJS), under the aegis leadership and guidance of His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, conducted an exclusive two days workshop with the juveniles of Government Boys Home (Balakara Nala Mandir), Hosur Road, Bangalore.

Fun-filled workshop for juveniles - A collaboration of Antarkranti and Intel India Pvt. Ltd.

The workshop was organized in collaboration with Intel India Pvt. Ltd under their corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative. Volunteers from Antarkranti as well as Intel India participated with around 250 children over the two days (Nov. 14 and Nov. 28, 2014) for the same. The objective of the workshop was to provide a platform for behavioural correction of the juveniles and to create an easy learning and encouraging atmosphere for inculcating their area of interest in the constructive and productive manner.

The workshop was not a classroom lecturing session but hands on activities centered on games, music, rhymes, art & craft, kite flying etc. This provided them with an opportunity to come out of their shells, feel free and participate as a group. This gave them confidence and children could BE with each other without being judged. Children loved the activities and didn’t want to part ways at the end of the day. They felt like one single group working towards a common goal of winning their game. The games act like a catalyst to teach them team building, success and failure, come out of failure and perform again apart from the fun element that they all had.
