Hailed as India’s largest hacker summit, HackDefence Summit 2026, hosted by Sohang Education, brought together the upcoming generation of cyber warriors to explore cutting-edge domains of cybersecurity. DJJS Bodh, in collaboration with YPSS, was invited to conduct a powerful session under the Sankalp Campaign (2025–2029) titled “Unplugging – Digital से दूर नहीं, बस Mindful हो जाओ”

Held on 15th February 2026 at Yamuna Sports Complex, Karkardooma, Delhi, the session added a crucial dimension by addressing the often-overlooked human side of technology use—addiction, distraction, and mental fatigue.
While participants at the summit were learning how to secure systems from external cyber threats, DJJS Bodh played a pivotal role in enabling them to recognize and defend against internal vulnerabilities such as excessive screen dependency, reduced attention span, and digital burnout. This unique perspective fostered a balanced understanding that true defence begins with self-mastery.

A key highlight of the session was an exclusive podcast by Sadhvi Shitabha Bharti, Global Coordinator of DJJS Bodh, who delivered practical, relatable, and thought-provoking insights on mindful technology use, emotional regulation, and building inner discipline. Her message empowered participants to consciously rethink their relationship with digital devices and take charge of their habits.
The engagement was further strengthened through interactive demonstrations and dynamic anchoring that sparked curiosity and active participation. A soul-stirring mime performance spoke volumes without words, powerfully portraying the silent grip of addiction and the journey towards awareness and freedom.
Invited as a key awareness partner, DJJS, through its Bodh initiative, in collaboration with Yuva Pariwar Sewa Samiti (YPSS), effectively engaged the audience through the Sankalp ‘Unplugging’ session. Participants gained meaningful takeaways and real-life benefits, including:
- Awareness of hidden digital addiction patterns in daily life
- Practical tools to manage screen time and enhance focus
- Deeper understanding of the impact of excessive digital exposure on mental and emotional well-being
- Techniques to build self-discipline and cultivate mindful habits
- Motivation to adopt healthier and more balanced lifestyle choices
To transform awareness into commitment, participants took a meaningful pledge, reinforcing their intent to use technology wisely while remaining vigilant about its addictive tendencies. The entire session radiated vibrant and unfiltered energy from start to finish, reflecting the strong connection established with the youth.
By integrating inner awareness with external technical knowledge, DJJS Bodh’s contribution emerged as a significant value addition to HackDefence 2026—shaping not just skilled cyber professionals, but conscious, responsible, and self-aware individuals.
Let’s aim together for freedom from all addictions—for real.
