Under the Village Improvement Project (VIP) run by DJJS and WEIF in six villages of Bihar, a health checkup camp was held at village Lakshminia on March 18, 2015.
Dr. Jitendra, who lent his humble volunteer service for this camp, examined 125 students. Malnutritionin children was a major problem seen. Students were familiarized with precautionary measures by the doctor and were also encouraged to maintain good health.
Such committed work done by DJJS and WEIF has brought relief to village people who often remain unaware of the prevailing diseases and risks associated with them. VIP has developed in them a ray of hope for a better future.
