The event commenced with collective peace prayers and bhajans which serve as relieving medication for the restless mind and prepare the being to reap wholesome health benefits. This was followed by a sequence of sessions including Asanas, Pranayama, spiritual discourse on the ancient concept of yoga ‘Yog & Spirituality’, Samuhik Dhyana (group meditation to harness spiritual potential) and ‘Shanti Paath’ peace prayers seeking health, peace and harmony for all.

Over 2000 people participated and re- energized through this camp, especially those are associated with the organization and also initiated into the practice of eternal technique of Bhram Gyan (meditation), thus commencing onto the path of true spirituality. Swami Vigyananand Ji and Swami Parmanand ji, disciples of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj ji, undertook Yogasanas, Pranayama and Meditation sessions. For one hour, the participants did basic Yogasana and Pranayama techniques, followed by a two hours of ‘Samuhik Dhyana’ (group meditation) to harness spiritual potential. While addressing the participants, Swami Parmanand ji said, “a healthy mind lives in a healthy body. Mental health is imperative for physical health. The ancient practice of meditation is as integral to yoga as the asanas are, cause they both helps to tune in with your eternal essence. Meditation is about learning to tame our mind so that we can focus all our energy and awareness on the task at hand. It doesn’t teach you to avoid pain or discomfort but to experience and accept it so you can move through any situation with profound clarity and a sense of inner peace and calm. And regular practice of Yogasanas and Pranayama not only promotes good health while managing various disease and ailments, but also helps a spiritual seeker to sit for long hours in meditation”.

The session ended with Om chanting’ and recitation of mantras such as Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah’ and ‘Shanti Path’ (peace prayer) seeking health, peace and harmony for all.
