How important is faith? It takes faith to believe that what a Guru says is always right and true; and it takes faith to trust and walk on the divine path of bhakti. It is said that just a little amount of faith can move mountains. In other words, just a little faith can do amazing things in our life and in the lives of those around us. It is faith that empowers us to keep on moving to achieve our spiritual goals. We are born to new life, we grow and develop in our spiritual lives, and one day we will be completely transformed into God’s likeness. This would be possible only if we keep faith on our spiritual mentor.
Recently, DJJS organized an event of Monthly Spiritual Congregation at Nurmahal Ashram, Punjab on 14th May, 2017. Such programs not only aim to gather the devotees under one roof but also remind them about their spiritual goals. Man is uplifted only by the company of scholars, the wise and men of character. Satsang is the gym for spiritual exercise. It is also a tool to get answers to the problems that a disciple faces while walking on the path of bhakti. Thousands of devotees were gathered at the venue.
The learned Preachers shared their valuable experiences with the masses. It is by Guru’s initiative that we begin our spiritual lives. Scriptures and texts of wisdom provide us with the fact that the Guru is the ultimate power in both worlds. He is the Living GOD– Generator, Operator and Destroyer of the life of a disciple. History stands witness how an ordinary boy who wandered on the streets as a cowherd, under the patronage of Acharya Chanakya was transformed into the King of the Kings– Chandragupta Maurya, who unified the nation and established the kingdom of righteousness. Hence, a Guru like a spiritual mother not just brings forth his disciple in the cosmic world of eternity, but also brings out the best in him. A Guru also shields his disciple at the psychological and emotional levels. A Guru, with his pure love and faith, gives his disciple a strong foundational support, upon which a disciple resolutely treads the path of his life while making the correct decisions. Our scriptures proclaim, 'Gururdevo Maheshwaraha'– A Guru like Lord Shiva brings in constructive destruction in the life of his disciple. For his growth and development, he too exterminates and eradicates all the obsolete, redundant and unwanted thoughts from his mind and ushers him towards a more significant and supreme goal of his life. This constructive destruction facilitates the self-development of a disciple, which eventually helps him climb the ladder to success in life.
We are blessed to be walking on the path of bhakti under the guidance, love and blessings of revered Gurudev Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji (Head & Founder – DJJS). The divine presence of His Holiness motivates the disciples to be spiritually determined. Our Gurudev has provided us with the solution for all our problems, be it worldly or spiritual. His Holiness has taught us to stay determined and not lose patience in worst ever situations also. The greatest ever gift of “Brahm Gyan” given to us by our Gurudev is the blessing in disguise and its regular practice will keep our faith growing in his mission of “World Peace”. Under the holy hands of our revered Master, we are determined to accomplish our spiritual goal. The Spiritual Congregation once again proved to light the hearts of disciples with faith, determination, devotion and wisdom.
