This is the second year, these women are gaining benefits from the program which aims at sustainable livelihood means to the women, good health of the family and ultimately poverty alleviation. The women beneficiaries thus spake that earlier they used to purchase the vegetables to feed the family which was restricted to once or twice a weak only due to poverty conditions. But, now with the short term vegetable plants support they received form DJJS and WEIF last year, they no longer have to spend money on purchase of vegetables rather the growth is good enough to feed the family ensuring good health.  The Mango saplings provided to the women will now ensure long-term fruit yield and thus economic stability in the years to come.
