Mata Ki Chowki at Kapurthala, Punjab Illuminated the Path of Spirituality for the Masses

Amidst the pomp & show of celebrating International Women’s’ Day on March 8th, which seems somewhat flimsy in its core, we are actually forgetting the real value of women in our lives; sadly sometimes women also fail to evaluate their self-worth, what they are capable of doing! We worship Maa Shakti in all her Nine Divine forms and among these Goddess Durga is worshipped as the Supreme Shakti. She is the Mother of universe, the power from whom comes forth the creation, sustenance and dissolution. Durga means one who takes us beyond all difficulties. She is the power of consciousness, residing within each being.  When awakened she becomes the source of all wisdom and divine power. Goddess Shakti is the source of all transformative energy and cataclysmic force that human logic cannot comprehend.

In the discourse, Sadhvi Ji explained the importance of a worldly mother to a child and how she has the most significant position in the upbringing and development of an individual. The Divine Mother is the one who bestows on all human beings the affection of all worldly mothers put together. Devi Maa’s love does not make a person weak rather it gives the strength to fight the conflicts, the psychological disturbances, mental fragments which are prevalent in society today. The glory of Divine Mother was sung in Mata Ki Chowki, that explained the regards that our culture gives to the feminine gender. It symbolises, that as Maa Shakti destroys all evil & negative to uphold peace & harmony, all females on the face of earth should be treated with utmost respect so that human race can progress in the positive and developmental path. Mata Ki Chowki not only renders the message of gender equality & peace in the general mass it also, evokes the message of unity, friendship & happiness.

Sadhvi Ji, further explained the importance of having the divine guidance of a Perfect Master (Guru) in everyone’s life. Guru blesses the disciple with Brahm Gyan which is the pinnacle of realization of the self. The disciple then understands what the actual meaning of unconditional love & boundless bliss is.  Guru is superior to all mothers as He introduces a seeker with light and brings about transformation in life. The holy guidance of a Perfect Master & Brahm Gyan is the only way that can establish gender equilibrium in the society; because to make that sky-high change, the base has to be strong and clear.
