Women have already proven their worth and ability to multitask both inside and outside home but still their condition on social and economical fronts across the world has not improved. In many parts of the world, they are still forced to lead a miserable life. Despite India being a country of rich heritage, tradition and culture, its women are not treated equal to men in the society. Women here are considered as Lakshmi of home however they are being exploited continuously (physically as well as mentally). This has lead to an alarming need of women to be empowered instead of being treated as vulnerable victims of male chauvinism. Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS), a socio-spiritual organization run under the mentorship of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji (Head & Founder – DJJS) has taken active steps in this direction, the main being enlightening her in the divine knowledge of Brahm Gyan.

DJJS organized Mata Ki Chowki at Sultanpur Lodhi, Punjab on 12th October, 2019. The divine spiritual bhajans filled the atmosphere with mystical mood. Bhajans are a way to invoke spirit of divinity, and amplify and diffuse purity in the hearts of devotees. They often lead to tranquility and composure.

Sadhvi Bhavarchana Bharti Ji (Disciple of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji), orator of the program, demonstrated the secrets of spiritual wealth which are an inherent part of the ancient heritage of this country. In Sanskrit, “Durga” literally means “fort”. She is also referred to as “Durgatinashini”, which means that ‘she is the one who is born to eliminate the suffering and pain of the people in the world’. Mother Durga is depicted as a ‘warrior woman’ riding a lion or a tiger with multiple hands carrying weapons and assuming ‘mudras’, or symbolic hand gestures. This form of the Goddess is the embodiment of feminine and creative energy (Shakti). The word Shakti, meaning strength, reflects the warrior aspect of the goddess, embodying a traditional male role. Goddess Durga incarnated in the form of Shakti for destroying the powers of the demon Mahishasur, who otherwise had become the most powerful demon on the planet. He was blessed with the boon that no male God can destroy his powers, so mother Durga had to incarnate on Planet Earth and destroy him. She is the mother of bounty and wealth, and also of beauty and knowledge. She is the embodiment of purity, knowledge, truth and self-realization.

Someone has rightly said that “Any woman who understands the problems of running a home will be nearer to understanding the problems of running a country.” In order to come out of the darkness of ignorance, they need an awakening, and this awakening is possible only through the Divine Knowledge and the eternal science of Brahm Gyan which is an eternal technique through which one can practically experience and realize God. Meditation leads to decrease in negative emotions like guilt and irritability, and also it lead to an increase in mind-fullness and self compassion. Thus, by connecting to her inner core she can enlighten the whole world. The purpose of Mata Ki chowki was successful in attaining the objective to make people aware of real Shakti within and one can attain it using the tool of ‘Brahm Gyan’.
