Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS), established and run under the Mentorship of His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji (Head & Founder), is a socio-spiritual-cultural, not-for profit organisation and its mission is to usher into a world wherein every individual becomes an embodiment of truth, fraternity, and justice through the eternal science of self-realization – 'Brahm Gyan', uprooting in its wake all social evils and threats.
Recently, DJJS organized an event of Monthly Spiritual Congregation at Nurmahal Ashram, Punjab on 11th December, 2016. Such programs not only aim to gather the devotees under one roof but also to make them realize what and how the Spiritual Revolution can be brought about for the overall welfare of the nation. Thousands of devotees gathered at the venue to attend the Spiritual Congregation. The program commenced with chanting of Vedas and Mantras. The inspiring lyrics of devotional songs created a divine ambience and engaged the total attention of the congregators.
The learned Preachers shared their valuable experiences with the masses to energize the audience to move on the path of “Bhakti” with utmost dedication. From early childhood itself, young minds are driven towards seeking knowledge and blessed are those who get the guidance to move away from the darkness of ignorance towards illuminating wisdom. In Indian scriptures, since Vedic age, the significance of 'Guru', and 'Shishya', is highlighted. In the Gita, Lord Krishna speaks to Arjuna about the importance of finding a guru. Our Scriptures proclaim that a true guru is the one who has the power to connect us to the Supreme Power by bestowing upon us the nectar of Divine Knowledge.
The learned Preachers shared various stories from Scriptures highlighting the essence of “Guru-Shishya” relationship. The cord that binds Guru and Shishya is divine and their relationship is the purest and trustworthy aa compared to all other relationships of the world. A Spiritual Mentor enlightens the soul of his disciple with Divine Knowledge and supports him continuously to walk on the divine path of Bhakti which is said to be like walking on a double edged sword. The divine instructions and strict discipline of the Spiritual Mentor helps the disciple to progress on the path of Bhakti with ease and attain liberation. The learned Preachers talked about various important aspects of Bhakti that a disciple must take care of and quoted various examples in form of stories form the Scriptures.
The spiritual saga undertaken by Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji is greatest of the great for its strength, depth and vision. Like the Perfect Masters in the past, the Master’s outlook is universal. His holiness says “Therefore, to bring a change in the world, the change needs to be triggered in its basic unit, i.e. human”. As has been proclaimed by all our Scriptures in unison, this change is possible only through the Divine Knowledge - eternal science of Brahm Gyan. This epoch is fortunate to have revered perfect spiritual master - Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji who has not just mastered this rare science of Brahm Gyan but has also revealed it and made it reachable to masses which is again rare or may be for the first time in the history of humankind.
Blessed are those who have found a “True Spiritual Mentor.” The ultimate goal of life, is to march forward on the divine path to get liberated from all the shackles which stop us to meet the Divine.
