Preachers described that the one, who walks steady on the path of devotion following the directions of his spiritual mentor, will surely attain his spiritual goals. Merely closing of physical eyes is not meditation. It is upon opening of the Divine Eye that the process of Meditation begins. Meditation is neither practicing certain yogic or breathing exercises, nor is it imagination and contemplation by mere closing of eyes, nor does it mean to gaze at some external object, or deep analysis through our limited intellects.

When an aspirant is initiated into Brahm Gyan by the Perfect Master, his Third Eye (the subtle power center situated on the forehead between the eyebrows) opens and he sees the wonderful Divine Light inside. Thus, begins the process of Meditation. ‘First revelation, then meditation’ – that is the process adopted by spiritual masters at all times.

In a research study conducted by scientists at Wake Forest University and published in the Journal of Neuroscience (April 2011), researchers explored the impact of meditation on pain perception. The study evaluated the effect of meditation on pain intensity and unpleasantness reported by subjects, and changes in brain activation patterns were measured by functional MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging). The study findings nicely sum up what Marcus Aurelius (the philosopher-thinker) had said, “Any external pain making you distressed is more due to your own estimate of it, and you have the power to revoke it at any moment.” With such interesting and promising findings, this has an implication in managing chronic pain through meditation making it a low-cost intervention in managing chronic suffering inflicted due to it.

So make best use of the opportunity and reap innumerable benefits by practicing the 'Brahm Gyan' meditation technique. Meditation not only helps an individual to give up its vices like hatred and jealousy but also builds the strength to overcome one’s shortcomings and rise higher. It is only through the regular meditation based on Brahm Gyan, a disciple can accelerate his spiritual growth and achieve his aim of life. It gives the eternal power to handle the situations, problems and causes.

The audience was mesmerized by the amalgamation of pious message of devotion and the music. Such monthly congregations instill a feeling of closeness to their Lord. The end to the event was marked with bhandara (community feast). A large number of devotees attended the event and highly appreciated it.
