Ancient India made remarkable advances in science and research. In fact, it would not be an exaggeration to say that the tradition of Indian knowledge science is the oldest tradition in the world. While today’s younger generation believes that all scientific inventions are provided to us by the West, it is absolutely necessary for them to realise that Indian Vedic Science is the basis of those western inventions.

Every year, 28 February is celebrated as National Science Day. It is celebrated as a day to widely disseminate India's incomparable contributions to the field of science and human welfare. Manthan-Sampoorna Vikas Kendra celebrated the month of February 2021 as National Science Month wherein the importance of Indian Vedic knowledge and modern science through scientific facts and formulas available in our scriptures was highlighted.

In this effort, through examples of sage scientists like Kapil, Kanad, Sushruta, Charak, Bharadwaj, Aryabhata and Bhaskar Acharya, students were made aware of various stages and achievements of Indian science. Various discoveries of Vedic Sciences such as Ayurveda, Surgical Medicine, Astronomy, Molecular Sciences etc. were explained to the students. The purpose of these events is to make the new generation aware of the infinite knowledge embedded in the Indian scriptures so that not only are they proud, but they are also inspired to make positive contributions in the field of science.

Manthan-SVK which is an initiative of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan, is working relentlessly for the education and overall development of the children of underprivileged sections of the society today.
