Antarkranti- The Prisoner Reformation & Rehabilitation Program, a social initiative of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan, organized a one day spiritual discourse and bhajan session for the male prisoners, first time ever at District Jail – Kaithal, Haryana on 23rd August, 2016.
Swami Dheerananad Ji and Swami Yogeshanand Ji, Representatives -DJJS, were the main orators at the event. They shared some valuable insights about the importance of peace within us, as internal peace is the ultimate remedy to all our problems. They also used the platform to sensitize the inmates about the ill effects of drugs in ones life.
Nearly 185 inmates attended the program. Mr. Raj Kumar Sharma, Jail Superintendent Mr. Surender Kumar, Dy. Superintendent Mr. Sumit Pawar, Mr Roshan Lal and other jail officials were present on the occasion. While giving their valedictory remarks at the end of the program the officials acknowledged and appreciated the efforts of Antarkranti to reform the lives of numerous prisoners who have also been the victims of drug abuse. They also encouraged the inmates to implement these divine teachings in their lives to make it worth living.
