The session aimed to instill the importance of cleanliness, discipline, and self-care as essential foundations of a healthy and value-based lifestyle. Through engaging discussions, practical demonstrations, and interactive activities, participants gained meaningful insights into maintaining personal hygiene in daily life.
The Personal Hygiene Sanskarshala focused on developing awareness around essential daily hygiene and self-care practices through engaging activities, demonstrations, and educational videos. Students were taught the importance of regular nail cutting, cleaning the tongue, brushing teeth twice a day, gargling after meals, drying the body properly after bathing, washing feet after returning from outside, and maintaining overall cleanliness. The sessions also highlighted the need to avoid unhealthy habits such as nail biting and nose picking. Alongside personal hygiene, children were sensitized towards table etiquette, social etiquette, and disciplined daily conduct, encouraging them to adopt cleanliness and healthy habits as an integral part of holistic living.
One of the most engaging segments of the sessions were live demonstrations and video presentations on how germs spread through simple physical contact such as handshakes. This activity created strong awareness about the importance of proper handwashing and personal cleanliness in preventing illnesses. Another informative presentation focused on body odour, the importance of regular exercise and methods to maintain freshness and confidence through hygienic habits.
The workshop also included exciting hands-on activities such as creating a personal hygiene kit, where children learned about essential hygiene items required for daily care. A hair-combing activity demonstrated the correct way to maintain neat and healthy hair, encouraging students to adopt grooming as a part of daily discipline. The session concluded with valuable daily health wisdom, inspiring everyone to practice cleanliness not merely as a habit, but as a reflection of strong values, self-respect and responsible living. The sessions drew to a serene close with the collective chanting of the Shanti Mantra, fostering an atmosphere of calm and reflection. Children offered their respectful obeisance at the sacred lotus feet of Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji.
