Prashikshan Empowered Women With Stitching Workshop In Gurugram, Haryana

Gender equality and women’s economic empowerment are central to the realization of an inclusive and sustainable development. Yet gender gaps around the country in various economic backgrounds remain large, pervasive and persistent. Somewhere, it is also attributed to the age-old patriarchal mindset of the society, which believes a woman is born to help others to achieve their dreams without creating an existence for herself. The reasons behind the unemployability of women reside in gender inequality, lack of information and practical knowledge, and poor education.

Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan’s (DJJS) social program named, Manthan - Sampoorn Vikas Kendra under the benign guidance and inspiration of revered Gurudev Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, has been relentlessly working in this regard, to bring a change and erase the line of discrimination. Manthan - Sampoorn Vikas Kendra has been instrumental in providing equal learning opportunities to all genders especially from economically weaker backgrounds free of cost, through its holistic supplementary education initiatives. Another initiative, SYAHI- Adult Literacy Center has been involved in creating academic and skill building opportunities for the adults.
