Ram Katha, Igniting the Divine Spark of Inner Transformation at Punjab

Listening to Lord Rama’s adventure in the great epic Ramayana, has been of great appeal to people across Indian subcontinent since long while. Lord Rama is the personification of virtues and moral principles of highest order. It gives an opportunity to the audience to self-contemplate. Traits of Lord Rama are touchstone for introspection about personality of every modern day man.

As the life of the legendary Rama unfolds, his attributes like wisdom, righteousness, bravery, compassion, self-control and peace get exemplified. As a wise man, Rama’s extraordinary quality to make “decision based on wisdom” gives valuable lesson to modern man, who is entwined in moral, professional and personal dilemmas today. The valour and vigour with which Rama knocks down wickedness displays “courage of conviction”, when the action is virtuous. Faced with threat and danger, Lord Rama remains calm and peaceful which is symbolic to the fact that amidst life faced with uncertainty, one can find solution only by remaining “self-controlled”, and not by displaying anger, anxiety or impatience.

Ram Katha, Igniting the Divine Spark of Inner Transformation at Punjab

Rama was incarnation of the Divine, who by virtue of being divine exhibited such attributes. Each individual is also a spark of the Divine itself and should ideally imbibe these virtues accordingly but due to its deeds, life gets entangled in the cycle of birth and death, pain and sorrows. Inner transformation enables the individual to exhibit the divinity within, which is profuse with wisdom, fearlessness and peace. It is only through Brahma Gyan, bestowed upon by a True Master, that the Divine spark within an individual triggers the inner transformation. The Katha ignited that divine spark so that human beings can tread on the path of inner transformation.
