New Delhi witnessed an electrifying blend of culture, music and motivation as SAM the youth empowerment drive of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS), in collaboration with Delhi Tourism, brought alive the spirit of Vasantotsav at Shivaji College.

The campus buzzed with youthful energy as students from across DU colleges gathered for an event that was anything but ordinary. Bhajans met beats, devotion met dynamism, and tradition met trend in a unique “Bhajan Clubbing” experience. Setting the stage on fire was SAM’s in-house fusion band, Eternal Bliss, whose high-energy performance reimagined devotional music with contemporary rhythms. The crowd swayed, clapped and sang along, proving that spirituality and celebration can go hand in hand.
Adding depth and direction to the festivities was an inspiring address by Sadhvi Ruchika Bharti Ji. Speaking on youth empowerment, she drew powerful parallels between the life of Shivaji Maharaj and the potential of today’s youth. She emphasized how Shivaji was not just a historical figure, but a foundation stone for societal transformation - a symbol of courage, leadership, integrity and nation-building. Her words resonated strongly with the audience, encouraging students to channel their energy into purposeful action and character development.

Sadhvi Dr. Shivani Bharti (Director, SAM), and Sadhvi Ruchi Bharti (Coordinator SAM), who eloquently articulated the larger vision behind this dynamic youth initiative. They highlighted that SAM is not merely a platform for events, but a movement inspired by the profound guidance of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji. Rooted in His Holiness’s vision of inner awakening through Brahm Gyan, SAM seeks to shape empowered, value-driven youth who can lead society towards harmony and progress. They emphasized that true transformation begins from within, and when spiritually awakened youth step forward, they become catalysts for nation-building.
The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including Prof. D.S. Chauhan, Chairman, Governing Body Dyal Singh College and Prof. Virendra Bhardwaj, Principal of Shivaji College, who appreciated SAM for blending cultural pride with youth engagement. Faculty members from various DU colleges were also present, standing shoulder to shoulder with students in celebrating this vibrant tribute.
More than just a cultural program, the evening became a celebration of identity, inspiration and inner awakening. It showcased how India’s rich heritage can be presented in formats that speak the language of today’s generation.
