Shiva in Sanskrit signifies the ‘Auspicious One’. He is a divine force, an epitome of benevolence, inner peace and tranquility. Lord Shiva is a supreme ascetic and one of the Trimurtis who has mastered the unity of the mind and spirit. He is the supreme God, a patron and emancipator of Yogis and Brahmins. Shiv Katha is an attempt of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan to put across the supernal anecdotes and divine mystics from the ethereal life of lord Shiva to the spiritual devotees. Due to the magnificent grace of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, a 5 days program of Shiv Katha was conducted at Phagwara, Punjab from 1st to 5th February 2019. The Katha orator Sadhvi Saumya Bharti Ji blissfully narrated the entire Katha enlightening the mammoth spiritual gathering of devotees with theology of Lord Shiva.

Shiv Katha Unraveled the Ideology and Mysticism of Lord Shiva at Phagwara, Punjab

Sadhvi Ji pronounced that Shiva is assumed to be at the nucleus of the centrifugal force of the universe and is believed to be the dissolving force in life. But Shiva dissolves to generate since death is indispensable for rebirth into a new life. So the opposites of existence and bereavement, creation and destruction, both dwell in his character. The Shiva Linga is a manifestation of the all-powerful Lord, which is formless. Shiva is called a ‘Maha Yogi’ because he advocated the eternal science of self-realization and is always in a meditative state of mind. Sadhvi Ji highlighted that the third eye as seen on Lord Shiva's forehead is the sacred eye which stands for elevated consciousness and allows us to see the real world devoid of illusions. Shiva sitting in an open third eye meditating pose is an exemplification of sereneness and mindfulness living. The vices of the heart fade away with the opening of the divine eye.

Sadhvi Ji asserted that our scriptures proclaim that every human possesses this 'Third Eye' which can be activated only by the true spiritual master of the era. The soul signifies Mother Parvati and Shiva is the supreme God or cosmic energy. Both the soul and the Lord personify life in a human body. Shiva and Shakti together form this universe. This ephemeral body is of no use if the soul and the Supreme do not unite. The supreme consciousness or the almighty is the very essence of a soul.

His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji is such a revered perfect master or Mahayogi who ignites the fire of divine grace by bestowing the cosmic supreme knowledge. His Holiness has set forth a mission of world tranquility and proffers the same divine theory along with the pragmatic experience of self-realization as offered by Lord Shiva himself to Mother Parvati. Sadhvi Ji concluded that one should follow the correct way of worshipping the Lord Shiva with true devotion and look out for a Mahayogi like Shiva who can accolade them with the metaphysical knowledge of Braham Gyan so that a man learns to exercise self-control which is the key to living life to the fullest.
