"The spiritual wave is one that leaves none standing at the shore." So says H H Ashutosh Maharaj Ji. He states that eternal knowledge of Brahm Gyan is the right of one and all, only if one devotes his whole self to the true master. Such pious nectar of wisdom was spread in Babain, Haryana through 5-day Shri Krishna Katha from 7th to 11th August 2018. The orator of this Katha was Sadhvi Saumya Bharti Ji. She held together the audience for event with her devotional speeches and mesmerising anecdotes.
The beginning of the Katha was marked by Kalash Yatra which included large masses of women carrying Kalash on their heads. Kalash yatra covered large surrounding area thereby informing the residents of the upcoming Katha. Each day, Katha began with the prayers in lotus feet of Lord Krishna. All the attendees participated whole heartedly in the prayers. Sadhvi Ji started the Katha with childhood anecdotes of Lord Krishna. Sadhvi Saumya Bharti Ji talked about the amount of devotion that the Gopis had towards their Lord. She mentioned the visit of Udhav Ji to Brij. Lord Krishna had gone to Mathura and he sent Udhav Ji to talk to Gopis in Brij and console them about his absence. When Udhav Ji visited Brij, he was spell bound by the aura of despair in the surroundings. It seemed as if the Gopis were simply existing and not living their lives. Udhav Ji tried make them understand that Lord Krishna has sent him there to console them. But Gopis were inconsolable. They stated that they have only one heart which has been totally devoted to their Lord Krishna and nothing can replace him now. Udhav Ji was so affected by their devotion that he also became a well-known devotee of Lord Krishna. Sadhvi Ji stated this anecdote with so much emotion that there was not a single dry eye in the marquee. Sadhvi Ji mentioned many such incidents during the Katha. She also instilled the idea of Brahm Gyan in the minds of people and stated that it is the only possible way through which we can be as close to our Lord as Gopis were to Lord Krishna.
The well-designed combination of bhajans and the Katha by Sadhvi Ji held the audience together. The number of attendees increased with each passing day. The Katha ended with hawan which witnessed the presence of a large number of people. The event was overall very successful.
