From 4th to 10th January 2026, the Holy city of Bengaluru in Karnataka witnessed a spiritually elevating event as Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) organized a grand Shri Krishna Katha. Over the span of seven days, devotees, seekers, and residents from across the region came together to immerse themselves in the divine leelas and teachings of Lord Krishna. The purpose of this Katha was not only to share the inspiring stories of Shri Krishna but also to guide people toward living a life of values, inner strength, and devotion.

Through the message of Lord Krishna, DJJS sought to awaken in society the spirit of righteousness, compassion and self-realization, creating a more conscious and harmonious world. The Katha was gracefully narrated by Sadhvi Aastha Bharti Ji, disciple of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji. Through her devotional discourses, she explained the profound wisdom about Shri Krishna as recorded in our sacred scriptures such as the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, the Mahabharata, and the Bhagavatam. She spoke about Krishna as more than a historical figure; he was the eternal guide, the teacher of Dharma, and the divine strategist whose life and words continue to inspire humanity. Sadhvi Ji highlighted how Krishna’s childhood leelas in Vrindavan symbolized divine love and joy, while his role in the Mahabharata reflected his supreme guidance on righteousness and truth. The teachings of Shri Krishna, especially in the Gita, stand as timeless instructions on courage, detachment, and performing one’s duty without ego or desire for reward.
Sadhvi Ji further connected the essence of Krishna’s teachings with the practical experience of Brahm Gyan, the eternal knowledge that reveals the divine within. She explained that devotion to Krishna cannot be complete unless one realizes him internally. Merely reading scriptures or listening to stories is not enough; True connection begins when a Perfect Master imparts Brahm Gyan and opens the inner eye of wisdom. Through this experience, one learns meditation on the inner light, which brings peace, clarity, and purpose to a directionless life. She reminded everyone that self-realization is the heart of Krishna’s message, and devotion finds its true meaning only when combined with direct inner experience. Through meditation, devotion, and guidance of a Perfect Master, a seeker begins to live Krishna’s teachings in daily life and gradually transforms from within.

Shri Krishna Katha also welcomed honorable guests from various walks of life, including respected leaders, officials and social dignitaries. Their presence brought attention and encouragement to the event, making it even more memorable. The atmosphere of devotion and wisdom gained wide acknowledgment from the media, which covered the event and shared its spiritual impact with the larger community. Many participants expressed how deeply the Katha touched their hearts, inspiring them to begin their own journey of transformation. The seven-day Shri Krishna Katha in Bengaluru was not only a celebration of divine stories but also a call for every individual to embrace their spiritual journey, guided by Krishna’s eternal wisdom and the light of Brahm Gyan.
