To make people aware of his glory and to resurrect his idealism, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) under the leadership of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji organised five day programme from Dec.18 to Dec. 22, 2019 at Sitarganj, Uttarakhand. Neither the chilly winds nor any materialistic obstacles could stop the devotees who were enthralled to witness the divine event of Shri Ram Katha. The Katha began with a prayer and by paying homage at the holy feet of Lord Rama followed by melodious chants and hymns. The chanted mantras acts like a catalyst in strengthening the bond and deep love between human mortals and the Supreme Being.
Lord Ram is personification of Idealism. Even after thousands of years, his life serves as a guide as to how to lead one’s life. His life and his ruling in the form of Ram Rajya is what we aspire today. His era seems to be far from truth as it was too perfect. Lord Ram made it flawless but his own life witnessed many sacrifices in order to achieve that condition. His glory is unsurpassable.
The Orator of the event, Sadhvi Garima Bharti Ji explained that Shri Ram is not only an epitome of righteousness, harmony, and reverence but also an embodiment of bliss. Rama’s legend is ingrained in the lifespan and thoughts of the entire nation since generations. Everyone is aware of the perfect administration during his rule fondly called Ram Rajya which is based on truth and equality. Unfolding the events from the life of Shri Ram, Sadhvi Ji exemplified that he was not only a great leader but also was an ideal son who followed his father’s instructions and happily agreed to complete an exile of 14 years. Rather than being hesitant or worried about the consequences, his entire focus was to carry out his father’s commands.
Furthermore, she enunciated that Lord Ram liberated his partner Sita from the captives of Ravana who was well known for evil deeds and brutality. By killing Ravana, he not only eradicated the evil forces but also enforced that virtuous action always wins over evil. She further explained the relevance of Lord Ram in everyone’s life in every role he played. She said that looking at pathetic state of our society, need of the hour is to delve deeper inside and not search Lord Ram outside in the world. As in that era, it is possible to internalize Ram using grade of a perfect master. Lord Ram too acted like a perfected disciple all the time at the behest of his Guru.
Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji is perfect master of today’s era who is helping the mankind by imparting Brahm Gyan (Divine knowledge) based meditation. By plasticising his teachings, it is possible to commune with Lord Rama. Maharaj Ji is integrating people of all the social strata in this bandwagon of peace. During the Katha, numerous exhibitions were displayed on the social projects initiated and being executed by DJJS. Two notable exhibitions were by Manthan (Education for underprivileged children) and Antardrishti (Self Reliant program for visually impaired and differently-able people). Several volunteers across the globe proudly presented benefit accrued to millions of people through these programs.
The Katha was a huge success as many spectators felt a sense of contentment and divinity. They vowed to not only familiarize themselves with the path of spirituality but also walk on the pre-set principles of Shri Ram to make this society a better place to live and to re-establish Ram Rajya.
