“He who in the midst of intense activity finds himself in the greatest calmness and in the greatest peace finds intense activity that is the greatest Yogi as well as the wisest man”.

Shrimad Bhagwat Katha - 'A Practical Guide to Know God', held at Rewari, Haryana

The Law of karma as it’s known to human beings is the principle of cause and effect. Not just the action but even a thought or intent defines the good or bad karma. However, even good karmas cannot free a being from the shackles of birth and death, pleasure and misery. It is only when a man performs work/duty without any attachment to end result can become really free. But how can once achieve such state of mind? The secret of performing karmas/ duties by surrendering every act onto the lotus feet of the divinity within was explained by Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) via the doctrine of Bhagwat Gita during the 7 day event organised from 21st to 27th May 2017 at Rewari, Haryana.

DJJS is  a socio-spiritual-cultural, not-for profit organisation, established and run under the mentorship of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji (Head & Founder, DJJS) is making people aware about the truth of life through the eternal science of self-realization, 'Brahm Gyan', and uprooting in its wake all social evils and threat. Hundreds of people poured in from various parts of cities and were held captive by the divine flow of Katha for all 7 days. The ethereal scores of Bhajans filled the hearts of devotees with majestic vibes and emotions.

Shrimad Bhagwat Katha - 'A Practical Guide to Know God', held at Rewari, Haryana

Sadhvi Aastha Bharti Ji tuned each attendee into the epic saga of Lord Krishna reciting various shlokas, with great control over the topic and narrated each sermon flawlessly. Sadhvi Ji corroborated the factual assertions with several divine incidents of Lord Krishna. She quoted an incidence highlighting the fact that the Ruler of the Universe is also not beyond the laws of karma. When Krishna was lying under a tree in the forest, he was shot by lethal arrow into feet by the hunter Jara mistakenly considering it as a lurking deer. When Jara pleaded for forgiveness, Lord told him that in his previous birth as Rama in the Tretayuga, Rama killed Baali (Sugreeva's brother) from behind. So, he has now reaped the price for the same through Jara who was king Baali in his previous birth. However, that does not mean that karmas can never be put to an end. Even if you were to be worst of sinners, you will be able to cross all sins and the ocean of miseries by the boat of transcendental knowledge. The fire of knowledge i.e. Brahm Gyan, burns all karmas to ashes. She eloquently explained that how Lord Krishna was the embodiment of his own teaching, his life was song celestial of non- attachment. She reiterated the message aloud in all our scriptures to “Stand up, assert yourself, proclaim the God within you, do not deny him!”

The event was successful in its purpose of elucidating everyone with the message of truth and knowledge amongst masses. Life is incomplete without the having the creator of this life beside you, only a Perfect Master can reveal the inherent cord with which we are tied to divinity. Then an awakened mind can mount upon not only towards own upliftment, but for the betterment of the society and the world at large. Many disciples of Shri Guru Maharaj Ji volunteered enthusiastically and extended their support towards the program activities. Many eminent personalities attended the event and were engrossed within the meticulous Katha. Some of the eminent guests that graced the occasion were:-
