Spiritually Captivating Shrimad Bhagwat Katha in Hoshiarpur, Punjab

The Bhagavata Purana is one of the oldest Maha Puranic scripture of Hinduism, which focuses on Bhakti to the Supreme Power, the almighty Lord Vishnu. It is considered to be the purest and greatest of all the Puranas since it invokes devotion towards Lord Vishnu and his various incarnations. The Padma Purana categorizes Bhagavata Purana as a Sattva Purana (that represents purity). It primarily focuses on Krishna since he was the complete incarnation of Lord Vishnu, the Lila-Purushottama (the Divine Sportive Form of God).

Nowadays, every human being is losing its essential human values, bending more towards never-ending desires and somewhere losing the connection with that divine being. In such circumstances Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan, under the divine guidance of His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji is putting their conscientious efforts to convey this rich resource of knowledge of the ancient legacy to the masses and infuse in them the inevitable divine endowments via Srimad Bhagwat Kathas – the Spiritual Saga.

The Katha Orator Sadhvi Kalindi Bharti Ji, the Preacher Disciple of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji flawlessly narrated Katha with innumerable shlokas and explained that Every Leela of Lord Krishna is infused with magnificent and thought provoking secrets. Their underlying meanings were relevant not only in that era but also hold infallible significance in today's age. She also explained that one can fathom these secrets only once the “seed” of “Braham Gyan” is sown within them.  When one gets enlightened with Braham Gyan and tread on this true path with faith, devotion and determination, the seed turns into a ‘graceful and fruitful tree’ which will bestow everlasting peace.

Though the programme ended on 4th Oct’15, but its divine message left an indelible mark on the mind of the congregation as it explained the journey of becoming a great human from just being a human.
