Lord Shiva is worshipped both in human form and formless emblem i.e. Linga. The outer human form of Lord Shiva is factual evidence of truth that whatever we see in the outside world is mere reflection of world within us. Every facet of Lord Shiva’s is symbolic of spiritual revelations within. For instance, the third eye on the forehead of Lord is symbolic of fact that every human being possesses this third eye which opens internally. Lord Shiva is also known as Adi Guru means the first Guru from whom the knowledge originated. He is THE eternal Guru who tells us about the need of Perfect Master or Satguru for every being to open this innate divine eye.

The Innermost Self Deciphered through Shiv Katha at Kumbh Mela, Prayagraj

To make the audience aware of this revelation of Lord Shiva, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan organized an extraordinary Shiv Katha, sharing the mystic wisdom of asceticism, from 14th to 20th Feb 2019 at Kumbh Mela, Prayagraj. The program commenced with the Holy prayers onto the Lotus feet of Lord Shiva. A series of devotional bhajans along with the beats of Tandav Stotram kindled souls and minds of everyone present there. The Key speaker at the event was Sadhvi Garima Bharti Ji, disciple of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji (Head & Founder of DJJS) who unraveled various wise gems from the saga of Lord Shiva. She explained the meaning of the word “Shiva” as “that which is not”, i.e beyond time, space and causation.

The day Lord Shiva is worshipped is called Shivratri, which is the darkest night of the month, is referred to as an opportunity for one to dissolve their limitedness, to experience infiniteness of the source of creation which is the seed in every human being. She further explained that using the technique of divine knowledge (Brahm Gyan), once the third eye opens, a disciple progresses on path of meditation on divine light. The energy generated thereby destroys the evil vices just the way Lord Shiva destroys evil.

Shiv Katha is also about the journey of Soul to Supreme Soul (Atman to Parmatman) or Devotee to God as exemplified by Mother Parvati as Devotee and the association as the Supreme of all. Sadhvi Ji explained that in present time, Satguru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji has the power to impart Brahm Gyan or divine knowledge to anyone who seeks knowledge that takes us from Shavatva to Shivatva.

She profoundly stated that anyone at any time can start their spiritual journey. However, without the grace of a true spiritual master, the journey will never be in the right direction and will not attain completion. This is the reason why it is important to seek a Guru who can enlighten the inner self. Sadhvi Ji extended invitation to all the attendees to receive such Knowledge and embark upon the perennial peace and tranquility for soul.
