Today, a majority of youngsters carry this notion and stick to it as well. A survey was conducted by Times of India in eight metropolitan cities, to gauge the significance of the trend of nightlife in a modern city. 46% of the sample size answered "absolutely" and 41% said "somewhat", while others remained neutral. In other words, there was hardly anyone in disagreement with the opinion. Apparently, the degree may vary, but this trend is prevalent almost in every city.
