SANKALP – Drug-Free India (2025–2029) is the flagship initiative of DJJS Bodh (Drug Abuse Eradication Program), launched in collaboration with YPSS, a dynamic youth organization. This nationwide campaign is dedicated to combating substance abuse and behavioural addictions while fostering mental well-being among youth and communities across India.

Swami Vivekananda firmly believed in the transformative potential of India’s youth. While many young Indians are indeed driving progress, a concerning number are falling prey to substance addiction—a crisis that demands urgent attention and collective action.
In response, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) launched the powerful ‘Quit Karo’ initiative under the broader Sankalp Campaign. This movement empowers youth through self-education, strengthens decision-making abilities, and provides spiritual guidance—laying the foundation for holistic growth and a drug-free lifestyle.

As part of its outreach, 21 impactful rallies were organized across various states in April and May 2025. Supported by over 5,136 dedicated volunteers, these rallies reached more than 1,41,034 individuals, delivering strong messages against drug and tobacco abuse. Notably, all-women rallies highlighted the essential role of women—not only as those affected but also as leaders and change-makers—in building an addiction-free society.
These rallies were not just about awareness—they became living symbols of unity and purpose. People from all walks of life including students, teachers, women groups, and general community members actively participated. The streets resonated with slogans, creative placards, street plays, and engaging counseling sessions that sparked consciousness and dialogue on the menace of addiction. These events served not only to raise awareness but also inspired united, empowered actions toward building a drug-free India.
These efforts were further elevated by the support of esteemed dignitaries at multiple locations:

Many more dignitaries were invited by various branches across India, lending their encouragement and presence to this vital social mission. Their inspiring words and visits to the Bodh awareness stalls, where they interacted with DJJS coordinators and took knowledge of the divine message of Brahmgyan, added immense strength to the campaign.
The initiative also received widespread press coverage from respected regional and national media platforms. This helped amplify its impact and expand the reach of the SANKALP campaign’s message across diverse segments of society.
These rallies are more than public events—they are the collective voice of a nation rising against addiction. They stand as a living testimony to DJJS’s unwavering mission to build a fearless, awakened, and addiction-free Bharat rooted in spiritual wisdom and social action.
