Divya Jyoti Ved Mandir (DJVM), established under the blessings and guidance of our revered Gurudev Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, is an initiative to invigorate the spiritual Vedic culture of Bharat by conducting research on ancient literature and scriptures. DJVM is working across the country to spread the acquired knowledge among the masses and revive the oral tradition of recitation of Vedas and to bring Sanskrit back into everyday practice. Since the pandemic has begun, virtual classes of Shukla-Yajurvediya Rudra Ashtadhyayi (Rudri Paath) and Spoken Sanskrit (Sanskrit Sambhashan) have been started globally.
On 14 October 2021, DJVM organised a virtual Convocation Ceremony for over 2000 students of 41 batches, some of whom have recently completed their Sanskit Sambhashan and others, their Rudri Paath classes. The ceremony began with the invocation of blessings from our revered Gurudev through Guru Stotram mantras. The participants were engaged in the programme through various interesting activities like riddles, fill in the blanks, spin-the-wheel, simple sentence formation, counting in sanskrit, object recognition etc. The participants also shared their experiences. They mentioned how, through these sessions, they were enlightened about the beauty of the language, its importance in Indian culture and the requirement of its conservation and propagation.
The distinguished guests also appreciated the incessant efforts of DJVM in curating such interesting sessions. In the end, Sadhvi Deepa Bharti Ji, Preacher, DJJS, gave the concluding remarks and congratulated all the participants, teachers and volunteers for the successful completion of the respective sessions.
