Carrying forward the nationwide mission to build a Drug-Free India, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS), under its Bodh initiative, in collaboration with Yuva Pariwar Sewa Samiti (YPSS), organized a series of 22 impactful awareness events across multiple states during August and September 2025.

50,101 people across 22 Locations benefitted under Ek Yudh Apne Virud - an initiative of Sankalp Campaign (2025 - 2029)

The campaign, themed “Ek Yudh Apne Virudh” (A Battle Within), emphasized that the fight against addiction begins not outside but within one’s own mind. It encouraged individuals to overcome emotional dependencies, peer pressure, and behavioral compulsions through awareness and self-discipline. The events were conducted in two main formats — Community Awareness Programs, which directly engaged people at the grassroots level, and Mass Sensitization Programs, designed to mobilize the larger public and spread the message of addiction-free living.

Each session was crafted as a meaningful and experiential learning journey, blending information, introspection, and interaction. Programs opened with light-hearted anchoring followed by a captivating cultural dance performance, “Aabad Rahe, Aazad Rahe, Hindustan Hamara.” The Lamp Lighting Ceremony marked the transition from darkness to awareness, symbolizing the beginning of an inner awakening.

Across various cities, the campaign reached people through Rallies, Nukkad Nataks, and Park Programs, transforming everyday spaces into platforms for awareness. Volunteers spread the message of self-control and conscious living in public parks, streets, and neighborhoods, creating a vibrant wave of community participation.

Participants were engaged through quizzes, live demonstrations, skits, and impactful videos explaining how addiction stems from emotional voids, lack of direction, and peer influence. The Bodh skit and the short film “Azadi – The Real Freedom” moved audiences deeply, illustrating that true freedom lies in mastering one’s own mind. Activities such as the Litmus Test and Pleasure Loop visually demonstrated how short-term pleasures often lead to long-term bondage, while real-life case studies of Pankaj Mahajan and Pradeep showcased inspiring journeys of transformation through inner awakening.
