Aarogya Sanskarshala focused on cultivating a healthy and balanced lifestyle among children through engaging, practical lessons on wellness. In these sessions, children learnt essential hygiene practices, such as the importance of brushing their teeth regularly and washing their hands to prevent illness. Emphasizing a holistic approach, the workshops encouraged children to nurture a healthy mind through positive thinking, mindfulness and activities that boost mental resilience.
Brain-stimulating exercises were done to keep their minds active, while guidance on nutritious eating and regular physical activity instilled lifelong habits for a healthy lifestyle. To reduce screen time, children were introduced to a variety of hands-on, mindful activities that keep them engaged without the need for digital devices.
Embracing the "Vocal for Local" ethos, the program taught children to appreciate and support local resources and practices, enhancing their connection to the community. By instilling habits of nutritious eating, regular yoga exercise and mindfulness, the Aarogya Sanskarshalahelped children build a strong foundation for a lifetime of physical health and mental resilience.
