Sanskarshala, an exclusive monthly initiative by Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan’s holistic education initiative Manthan Sampoorna Vikas Kendra (SVK), offers an enriching platform for children aged 4 to 12 years. Designed to shape young minds with timeless virtues and emotional resilience, these sessions blend experiential learning with value-based education.

This month, Manthan SVK spotlighted the tenth facet of Dharma through Akrodh Sanskarshala, emphasizing mastery over anger as a vital life virtue. The thoughtfully designed sessions helped students recognise how even a brief lapse in emotional control can impact their physical, mental, and social well-being. Through interactive discussions and reflective activities, participants developed deeper emotional awareness and practical strategies for cultivating restraint and inner balance.
In January 2026, a total of 57 Akrodh Sanskarshala – दश धर्म लक्षणम्, workshops were held, benefiting around 2569 children across all DJJS branches, including NRI children as well as students from various schools across the country.

Akrodh Sanskarshala – दश धर्म लक्षणम् - This month’s thematic emphasis on Akrodh formed the cornerstone of several value-oriented initiatives and thoughtfully designed activities conducted by committed Manthan volunteers. Rooted as the Tenth essential principles of Dharma, the sessions encouraged children to cultivate emotional restraint and mindful response in their thoughts, words and actions.
Engaging video segments illustrated real-life scenarios highlighting the consequences of impulsive reactions, while storytelling sessions conveyed powerful moral lessons on patience and self-restraint. Interactive activities, group discussions, and practical techniques such as reverse counting and deep breathing exercises enabled students to experience constructive ways of managing emotions. Through this integrated approach, participants developed deeper self-awareness and a balanced perspective toward expressing anger wisely and responsibly.
The sessions drew to a serene close with the collective chanting of the Shanti Mantra, fostering an atmosphere of calm and reflection. Participants offered their respectful obeisance at the sacred lotus feet of Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji. Through His benevolent grace and spiritual guidance, the essence of this month’s theme – दश धर्म लक्षणम् was meaningfully embodied, subtly influencing the students’ mindset, behaviour and inner consciousness.
